Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) was founded on November 20, 2015. 27 shareholders of ACRA are major Russian corporates and financial institutions. Each founder’s share is equivalent to 3.7% of the authorized capital that in general amounted to more than RUB 3 bn. Since April 2020, the CEO of ACRA is Mikhail Sukhov, a former VTB Deputy Chairman. ACRA’s Board of Directors includes Karl Johansson (The Chairman of the Board of Directors, USA), Anouar Hassoune (Luxembourg), Klaus Mangold (Germany), Vladimir Gusakov (Russia) and Alexander Voloshin (Russia).

The Agency is being created in accordance with the latest regulatory requirements and its main goal is to deliver high-quality rating products to the Russian financial market. After inclusion into the register of the Central Bank of Russia, the Agency assigns national and international scales credit ratings to such categories of entities as financial institutions, corporate sector companies, regional and municipal authorities of the Russian Federation as well as to the structured financial instruments. ACRA develops such areas as risk assessment of sustainable development and Islamic finance, rating commercial mortgage securities, as well as issuers, instruments and project financing obligations.
